A few months back I received some 4VOO products in a gift bag. After using them for less than a week, I totally fell in love! I’m all about the skincare and will spend anything to look good, but in the last few years I’ve realized that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get good products.
Since 4VOO just announced new gift sets for the holidays, I thought it was the perfect time to share my findings with EDGE readers. I tried three of their best selling products (all made with Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3), an ingredient that reverses the aging process by stimulating natural biological processes, regenerates the upper layers of the skin and reduced the appearance of wrinkles. I’m happy to report that it worked!
Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 is a manmade protein that stimulates collagen production as well as the synthesis of other important compounds in the skin. As we age, our skin gets thinner because we naturally lose a layer of collagen that’s found between the top layer of our skin and the second layer. As the skin thins, it becomes more difficult for nutrients to pass from the dermis to the epidermis, affecting the appearance of the skin (i.e. causing wrinkles!).

Rejuvenating Under Eye Gel
I immediately loved the eye gel because it was light and refreshing- so many eye products are heavy, greasy and either make me itch or cause me to tear-up after an hour or so; not this one. The
4VOO eye gel is made to reduce puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles and it did just that. My eyes felt more relaxed, moisturized and ‘fresh.’
The Eye Gel contains 15 botanical extracts, essential oils, vitamins and minerals derived from natural sources. When you apply the gel, the immediate effects are a bit surprising; I’ve never seen such quick results with any other products.

Dynamic Lift Treatment
The Dynamic Lift Treatment is one of the best extra-moisturizing treatments I’ve found. For dry fall and winter air in the Northeast, it’s awesome! It works to reduce visible lines, firm, tone and protect and stimulate circulation as it moisturizes.
With the highest concentration of palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 as well as essential oils, vitamins and minerals, this serum absorbs quickly, and immediately firms skin. For the dry months, I use this under the Maximum Renewal Moisturizer; when I don’t need extra moisture (or for those with oilier skin), I use this product alone.
Maximum Renewal Moisturizer
The Maximum Renewal Moisturizer is great for either extra moisturizing action (on top of the Dynamic Lift Treatment) or alone, as a non-greasy moisturizer that leaves skin smooth and fresh without an oily film. I use it when I need a bit of moisture without heaviness and when I need a ‘boost’ during the late afternoon but don’t want to look ‘slicked up.’
The vitamins, minerals, essential oils and palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 work to protect the skin from environmental damage throughout the day while they reduce visible signs of aging, and leave skin fresh and moisturized. It’s also a fabulous nighttime moisturizer- great for applying just before bead in the dry winter months to avoid waking up with that dry, scaly, lizard-face feeling!
